Sara Murphy

Vice President, Operations,

Sara has served in roles on the audit, consulting, and BPO teams, and has been involved in strategic positioning and financial analysis of the organization. Sara has been in the reinsurance industry for 20 years and became a member of the LOGiQ³ team in April 2009.

Before joining LOGiQ³, Sara was the US Life Leader at GE Employers Reassurance Corp where she led the areas of assumed and ceded reinsurance administration, technical accounting, audits, and treaty preparation and review. In her 7 years with Employers Re, she also coordinated workflows between actuarial, claim, finance and IT relating to the US and Latin American blocks of business.

Sara worked with American United Life (AUL) Reinsurance for ten years prior to the acquisition of that block by Employers Re. During her time at AUL, Sara held various roles, including being responsible for budget, treaty preparation, data loading, audits, and assumed and ceded administration. Other experiences include reinsurance systems development and implementation, claims, project management, and process workflow management.

Sara holds her BA in business from Hanover College and her MBA from Butler University. She has earned her Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI), Associate, Reinsurance Administration (ARA) industry designations, as well as being Six Sigma certified.
