Who is the Underwriting Training Program most suitable for?

The LOGiQ3 Underwriting Training Program is suitable for underwriting professionals, life insurance advisors and financial planners, and individuals hoping to pursue a career in life underwriting.

Our program and courses have been designed to help learners at all levels – entry, junior, intermediate, and senior.

How much does this program cost?

We offer a range of pricing options which vary depending on the method of training: E-Learning or Classroom and these options can be further tailored to your needs.

The full E-Learning program that includes all 29 courses (consisting of both the LEARN and CHECK portion is) $2,300 USD.

I am an individual user and would like to enroll myself for personal training, how do I get started?

Please proceed to our E-Store and select the course(s) and corresponding level you would like to gain access to. Check out as you would on any online store. Once your payment has been successfully process, a member or our team will confirm your user information and get you started!

Please note, we are only able to create user accounts during business days.

Do I have to take the full program or may I purchase one course at a time?

You are absolutely able to purchase one course at a time. However, we recommend individuals in the underwriting profession complete the entire program from a career development perspective to fully benefit from the program.

I’m not sure if this is right for me, can I request for a free trial?

Yes! We offer a seven (7) day Free Trial course that draws from a sample of three courses.  Alternatively, see a topic you are truly intrigued by? Let us know and we will give you access for seven (7) days.  You are only able to request for a free trial once, so we urge you to take full advantage!

Is this program only available online? What if I want to request for in-person training?

In addition to E-Learning, we conduct onsite training classes for corporate clients hoping to train multiple students. We are able to customize the agenda or our onsite training sessions to suit your needs.

You are welcome to purchase courses and the full program from our E-Store for multiple users. However, we encourage you to reach out to us for corporate solutions as we offer volume discount and customize solutions.

How do I make a purchase online?

Making a purchase online is very simple! Proceed to our E-Store, select the course(s) and corresponding level you’d like to gain access to and proceed to check out! Be sure to check our E-Store’s home page to see if we are running promotional offers!

I’ve made a purchase online, what should I expect next?

Once your order has been placed and payment has been successfully processed, you will receive an order notification via email. A member of our team will reach out to you within one business day to verify user information.

Once verification is received, your user account(s) will be set up and a welcome email will be sent directly to the user with information on how to log into our Learning Management System (LMS).

How long do I have access to my user account for?

Your access for each course will expire in 12 months from the time it was added to your user account. If you require more time, please contact us at elearning@logiq3.com.

What forms of payment do you receive?

We accept American Express, VISA, and MasterCard via our E-Store. If you are not able to make an online payment, and would like to be invoiced manually, please contact us at elearning@logiq3.com and a member of our team will assist you.

I’d like to add more courses to my existing account, what should I do next?

If you are an existing user and would like to add more modules to your account, please proceed to our E-Store and purchase the additional course(s) you would like to gain access to. Our team will recognize your user information and add the course(s) for you.

A notification email will be sent to you once the course(s) have been added.

Technology Requirements

 

What are the user technology software requirements to access the LMS?

The LOGiQ3 E-Learning Learning Management System (LMS) is a web-based solution with no desktop or "client" software requirements to load.

Which web browser should I be using?

Standard Compliant Web Browser (Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer 10, Mozilla Firefox, Safari). We recommend Chrome or Mozilla Firefox

Do I need to be connected to the internet to view my course?

Yes, you need an internet connection to access all of our course material.

Which media player should I be using?

Our videos are embedded within our Learning Management System (LMS). You will be able to play them without an external media player. 

Can I view the content using my phone or tablet?

Yes, you can. Remember that you will require an internet connection. Due to the variance of screen sizes and resolution on a variety of cellphones and tablets, your user experience may be affected.

What is a Learning Plan?

If you purchased our Full Program (inclusive of all courses), you will have a pre-populated Learning Plan within your user account which lists the courses you should complete in its intended order. Want to customize the Learning Plan? Simply email us at elearning@logiq3.com.

The Full Program is made up of 27 courses, why do I see 51 courses in my Learning Plan?

If you have purchased our Full Program inclusive of LEARN, CHECK and APPLY portions, you will see 56 courses instead of 29.

The LMS adds 29 courses plus the 27 APPLY cases (with the exception of Medical Terminology & Proper File Documentation and Tumours: Overview) as additional courses. This results in a total of 29 courses (LEARN & CHECK)+ 27 (APPLY) cases.

How is my Progress Score Calculated within the LMS?

The system displays the progress for the user.  The LMS allows you to see your progress on a per course basis. 

This is only an indicator, the passing grade is not the same as your progress score.

Examination and Testing

 

What are Knowledge Quizzes and do they contribute to my overall passing grade?

Knowledge Quizzes are questions that assist a user in understanding the lectures and topics. These do not contribute to the passing grade however, within the LMS, it is used to calculate and display a user’s overall progress as an indication of a user’s understanding of the topics. 

What is considered as a passing grade for an examination and how many attempts do I have?

You are required to achieve a passing grade in order to proceed, please refer to the following grid as reference:

How long can I expect to wait for my APPLY results?

We try to get you your results within 48 hours (2 business days). Occasionally, our instructors may need a bit more time, but it is not the norm.

What is the difference between the exams in LEARN, CHECK, AND APPLY?

LEARN: includes online interactive videos and knowledge quizzes throughout the course.

CHECK: multiple choice examination after each course with immediate scoring.

APPLY: Real case studies, evaluated with feedback and mentoring by industry experts. APPLY are optional testing components which can be purchased as an add-on. 

What happens if I exceed the number of attempts and still haven’t received a passing grade?

Help, I forgot my login information?

  1. Your username will be the email addressed used to sign up

What should I do if the video lectures are not playing properly?

  1. Adobe Flash
    • The video hosting will work on any browser that supports Adobe Flash and/or HTML5 (in the form of MP4 video with and h.264). The requirement for viewing Flash content is Flash Player 9 or greater, and a browser that supports Flash. To check which version of Flash you are running, head to their download page - https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html . To ensure the best play-back, we typically recommend remaining up to date with your Flash version whenever possible.
  2. Browser
    • If you haven’t already, try to watch the video from another browser and see if it is an issue related to the current browser you are using.
  3. Internet Connection
    • Are you experiencing slow loading, or seeing a "Loading..." message on your videos? The most common cause of that problem is that your Internet connection speed is not fast enough to support video playback reliably. While our video hosting service takes many steps to optimize the playback experience for each viewer, there are some minimum requirements for a smooth playback experience.
    • If you have a fast connection but are still having playback issues, keep the video at its native size. Expanding the video to full screen increases bandwidth consumption.
    • If your Internet connection is super speedy, and the above items do not work, send us a link to the page you're seeing the problem on, and we'll help you figure out what's happening there.

Who should I contact if I am having IT (technical) issues?

How do I reset my password?

1. Click on the “Lost Password” link

2. Enter the email address used to setup your account. If you have forgotten the email used to sign you up, please contact support (itsupport@logiq3.com) with your first and last name, associated company, and approximate enrollment date. A team member will contact you via your registered email address to provide assistance in logging into the site.
